Pro Bowl left tackle Joe Staley, who did not participate in the first week of 49ers OTAs, recently underwent arthroscopic surgery to repair a minor meniscus tear in his left knee.
The knee otherwise looked "perfect," a source said, and Staley is expected to be ready for the opening of training camp in late-July.
The six-year veteran was seen working out in the weight room during Tuesday's practice.
Staley has been selected to the NFC Pro Bowl team the past two seasons.
He tweeted the following at 3:48 PT Tuesday afternoon:
Procedure I had this offseason was very minor but necessary. I will be 100 percent and better than ever by training camp.
